Until now, I have yet to introduce myself personally on i.nternational. c.itizen.
i.c. is first and foremost a scrap book, collage and montage of ideas and loves for everything that incapsulates the creative industry of design focusing on fashion & clothing design. i.nternational. c.itizen is about inspiring ideas from everywhere rather then a self styling portrait of myself. And so, I've spent the better part of this year developing a mini collection inspired by my travels to Buenos Aires, Argentina with the goal to build upon my portfolio and further develop myself as a designer. Here is the finished product. Although it was completed in August, it took me a while to thoughtfully post everything I wanted to share through this process... as you may have noticed...!
May I introduce myself to you, I am Annika and this is my Fall 2010 Capsule Collection.
Photographed on a smoky afternoon in July by Eugene of 3TEN photography with Lexington Models, we created a magical shoot under the haze of smoke from forest fires in the interior of British Columbia. Along the river dykes, tall grass and humid heat the clothing came to life.
and so it is,
for more of i, here am i
it was lovely to meet you, hope you equally enjoyed our introduction!
And here it is, the compilation of inspiring ideas, concepts, photographs represented through the history, culture & architecture of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the brilliant changing colours of the fall leafs.
The result is to follow.
A Fall 2010 Spectacular Spectacular Colección
This scrap book of inspiration was created by myself with many fotos taken by myself while in Argentina as well as number of images sourced from magazines, style.com, & fav bloggers...
everything's been leading up to this, dun dun dun'
were my thoughts as I wandered through this quiet shopping area of San Telmo. I referenced the area with photos of my own as a source of inspiration. It was a combination of the decaying architecture, history, colour and mood the space provided that had me so captivated.
I like to think Karl had similar feelings for his Spring 2010 photo shoot campaign, photographed during the previous fall season.
if you're just following this post for the first time now, read the previous post below and all will make sense
